Dupuis Oil announces partnership with Society’s R.I. Chapter, dedicated to helping Rhode Islanders with MS & to funding research to find a cure
Keeping the National MS Society a well-oiled machine:
WARWICK, R.I., Jan. 28, 2013 - The Rhode Island Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is partnering with Dupuis Oil. When an MS Society member opens an account with Dupuis, the full-service heating and air conditioning company, will make a $100 donation to the Society’s Rhode Island Chapter.
In addition, the new customer will receive a ten-cent-a-gallon discount, and for every gallon that customer buys, Dupuis will donate ten cents to the Rhode Island Chapter. If the new customer has service work performed, Dupuis Oil will donate 2 percent of the total cost of a paid service job to the Chapter also.
One of the company’s owners, Marc Dupuis, has been cycling in Bike MS: Ride the Rhode for six years on the Wheels on My Heels team. Bike MS is the Society’s largest fundraiser in Rhode Island with participants cycling 150 miles over two summer days. The partnership between the MS Society and the Pawtucket-based oil company is another way to support the work of an organization that is dedicated to Rhode Islanders with MS and to raising money for MS research and eventually a cure.
