At Dupuis Oil Company you can choose from a wide variety of price protection plans that can help you budget wisely and take control of your home energy costs. Each gives you the convenience of automatic delivery, where we carefully monitor your usage and local weather patterns to make sure you always have the fuel you need. Select the plan that works best for you — then have greater peace of mind all year long!
Pre-Buy Plan
The Pre-Buy Plan allows you to purchase your annual supply of fuel at a special, early season price. Once purchased, we secure your fuel and deliver it automatically as you need it. While there is no guarantee your pre-buy price will be the best price in a single season, this plan has a great track record over the long run.
Benefits
- Special pre-buy price. Pay a discounted rate for your fuel when prices are typically lower.
- Easy, single payment. (Due prior to heating season.)
- Risk-free calculations. We can help you estimate your annual fuel usage. If you use less oil than estimated, you can request a refund or have a
credit towards next year’s costs, whichever you prefer.
Additional gallons needed will be billed at our
Daily Price or our Fixed Price, whichever is lower.

Fixed Price Plan
This plan allows you to lock in with a special early season price for your fuel. That means no matter how high or low the “market” rate, you always pay the same “fixed” rate. It’s similar to the Pre-Buy Plan since your price never fluctuates. The difference is you can pay for each delivery as you receive it or spread payments out with the Easy Payment plan.

- Predictable fuel price. No matter how much market rates rise, you pay one simple rate for your heating oil throughout the entire heating season.
- Easy Payment Plan option. Instead of paying for each delivery in full, you can spread your fuel costs out through the year into 10 or 12 even payments.

Ceiling Price Plan
Our Ceiling Price Plan protects you from heating oil price spikes with a “ceiling” on the rate you pay for your fuel. If fuel costs rise, you never pay more than your ceiling rate. You also benefit when market prices drop — when fuel costs are below your ceiling rate, you receive the lower rate. It’s a win-win situation!

- Avoid fuel price spikes. If the market rates rise, you stay protected with a ceiling on the price you pay.
- Take advantage of falling fuel rates. If rates drop below your ceiling price, you pay the lower price.
- Worry-free automatic delivery. We save you time by scheduling deliveries for you.

each delivery in full, you can spread your fuel costs out through the year into 10 or 12 even payments.
- Enrollment fee required.

Daily Price Plan
With this option you can receive automatic delivery at our posted retail price of oil on the day you receive it. If you are a Dupuis heating oil customer and you have not already secured another pricing option, you automatically receive the Daily Price Plan price.
